For Overseas Customers
For overseas customers considering a purchase from our store
Please note that Starbase is a retailer for domestic sales in Japan. We do not provide the following services:
- Overseas shipping
- English instruction manuals
- Assistance with personal export procedures
(including special packing beyond our standard packaging, delivery to export agents, customs clearance support, etc.)
For tax-free purchases, a handling fee of 1.65% of the product price will be charged.
We are not responsible for any issues, such as collimation errors, that may occur while transporting a telescope outside Japan. When transporting a telescope by air, it must always be carried as hand luggage. To ensure product quality, we do not offer tax-free sales for large telescopes, such as the TOA series, that exceed airline carry-on baggage limits.
Please also note that many manufacturers, including Takahashi, may void the product warranty if the product is purchased in Japan for use overseas once it has left Japan.
Repair requests are accepted only at our store. In general, your local dealer will not be able to handle repairs on your behalf. We kindly ask that you understand these conditions before purchasing from our store.
If reserved items are not purchased within two months after they become available, the reservation will be cancelled.
