For overseas customers considering purchasing at our shop,
Starbase is a store for domestic sales. We do not do these things;
・Overseas shipping
・Preparation of English instruction manual
・Support for your personal export
(packing more than usual, transfer to exporter, helping you with customs clearance, etc.)
When purchasing items tax-free, a handling fee of 1.65% of the product price will be charged.
We are not responsible for any troubles (collimation error, etc.) that occur while you take the telescope out of Japan. When transporting telescopes by airplane, they must always be carried as carry-on baggage. From the perspective of ensuring product quality, our store does not offer tax-free sales for large telescopes, such as TOA series, that exceed carry-on baggage restrictions.
Many manufacturers, including Takahashi, will void the product warranty if you purchase it in Japan for use overseas, once the product leaves Japan.
Requests for repairs are only accepted at our storefront. Your local dealer basically doesn't provide them for you instead. Please understand these points when shopping at our store.
